Grandview Point is an exciting area with some of Lake Minnetonka's most beautiful boathouses.
Water Quality:
The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District gives Carsons Bay an A in water quality. The water is crystal clear and can be enjoyed recreationally all year round.

Lake Access:
Carsons Bay is home to the Minnetonka Yacht Club (MYC)- one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country. Some amenities of the Deephaven location for MYC's members are access to boat launching facilities, boat slips, ramps, and mooring buoys for sailboats and motorboats. Another boat launch option is the Carsons Bay Boat Launch, right on Minnetonka Boulevard, which can launch boats in and out of the water.
Amenities:
Walden Beach, on Carsons Bay, is a public swimming beach. The beach has no stationed lifeguards but offers free parking, picnic tables, and public restrooms. Outside of Carsons Bay is Sandy Beach on Lower Lake Minnetonka and Deephaven Beach on St. Louis Bay, both stationed lifeguards from noon until 6 p.m.
